Heroin case heads to trial

A 28-year-old man facing drug trafficking charges connected to a major heroin bust in Wausau that netted thousands of dollars in drugs and cash pleaded innocent Tuesday to felony drug charges.

Quovadas Lewis of Wausau appeared in Marathon County Circuit Court at a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Marathon County Circuit Judge Michael Moran ordered Lewis to stand trial on all charges.
