Another day, another indoor practice session for area high school softball teams

The D.C. Everest softball team was originally scheduled to travel to Marshfield for a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup Tuesday afternoon.

However, right around the time that the Evergreens should have been taking the field with the opportunity to even their record on the year, team members could be found in the weight room at Greenheck Field House with rain forcing a game postponement - an all-too-familiar scenario as the wet spring has created havoc for high school sports teams over the past month.
