Six people died from prescription drug overdoses in Door and Kewaunee counties the last two years, according to an undercover officer in the Door/Kewaunee Drug Task Force. Children selling prescription pills in local schools, near death calls due to prescription overdose and stealing medications from patients in nursing homes are the types of cases he now investigates as often as marijuana use the past five years.
