Ridges starts Coastal Byway tours, taking reservations

The Ridges Sanctuary is taking reservations for a new series of nature tours it is offering along the Door County Coastal Byway, a Wisconsin Scenic Byway that stretches over 66 miles as it loops through the Peninsula.

Beginning just north of Sturgeon Bay, the byway offers abundant opportunities for bird watching, postcard-quality scenery, fascinating cultural history and accessible natural geologic features. The Coastal Byway tours offer two expert guides in Ridges naturalist Karen Newbern and well-known Door County naturalist Paul Regnier.
