Emergency sirens across Brown County earned good grades in a test Wednesday, days after some did not work during a statewide tornado drill.

"The ones in question all worked," said Paul Gazdik, the county's emergency management coordinator. "The test went very well."

A number of county residents had raised concerns Friday that they didn't hear sirens during a test designed to promote tornado readiness. In calls to the county and on social networking sites, people said they did not hear sirens in parts of Ashwaubenon, De Pere and Green Bay. ...
