Bret Michaels returns to Oneida Casino

He might've bombed on his decision to come back for seconds on the current season of "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice'' (damn you, Omarosa), but when it comes to return visits to Oneida Casino, it's a no-brainer for Bret Michaels. The ever-likable Poison frontman is an easy sellout every time he plays the venue. Maybe it's the bandana or the endless energy on stage or that '80s staples like "Talk to Dirty to Me,'' "Unskinny Bop'' and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn'' never get old to the generation who grew up with them. It doesn't hurt that Michaels, who turned 50 last month, has a knack for keeping himself front and center in pop culture, even if for just one episode in the Donald Trump boardroom (although he was back as a guest judge on Sunday). With no word of any Poison touring action this summer, Michaels is busy pumping his own shows with the Bret Michaels Band, hawking his line of pet accessories for PetSmart, championing his diabetes causes and filming his new Travel Channel show, "Rock My RV.'' The reality series, in which he leads a team of custom designers in transforming travelers' ordinary RVs into "the most outrageous, bada--, hooked-up mobile mansions on the road,'' debuts in May. Friday night's show will be built around all the Poison oldies, but with a new solo album due June 25, expect Michaels to air out a couple of fresh tracks, too.
