Following are the menus for local lunch programs for April 28 to May 4.

All meals include milk and Nutritional Meals menus include coffee and milk.

Public schools

Monday - Chicken snack wrap, applesauce, peaches, lettuce, tomatoes and baked beans at all schools; plus choice of barbecue rib on bun at middle and high schools only.

Tuesday - Popcorn chicken, bread, orange smiles, pears, fresh carrots and broccoli at all schools; plus choice of French bread pizza at middle and high schools only.

Wednesday - Hot turkey breast slice, mashed potatoes, T-bun, fresh apples, cranberry sauce and cucumbers at all schools; plus choice of chicken strips with T-bun at middle and high schools only.

Thursday - Barbecue on bun, oranges, mixed fruit, fresh carrots, and vegetable blend at all schools; plus choice of mini corn dogs at middle and high schools only.

Friday - California burger, strawberries, mandarin oranges, garden salad, tomatoes, peas and carrots at all schools; plus choice of chicken egg roll with brown rice at middle and high schools only.

Columbus Catholic Schools

Monday - Wenzel all beef hot dog on whole wheat bun, pasta salad, chili con carne, onions, reduced fat cheese, chilled peaches; or salad bar.

Tuesday - Baked potato bar (mashed potato bar at St. John's) with ham, broccoli, cheese, bacon, onion, sour cream, grape bunches, pumpkin bars; or salad bar.

Wednesday to Friday - Not available.

Immanuel Lutheran

Monday - Breakfast: Choice of cereal, toast, fruit. Lunch: chicken nuggets, baked beans, fruit choice, whole-grain dinner roll.

Tuesday - Breakfast: Choice of cereal, toast, fruit. Lunch: Hot turkey, mashed potatoes, fruit choice, whole -rain dinner roll.

Wednesday - Breakfast: Pancakes, yogurt, fruit. Lunch: Pizza dippers and marinara dipping sauce, lettuce salad, fruit choice, cinnamon roll.

Thursday - Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, toast, fruit. Lunch: Turkey and cheese sub sandwich, chips, fresh carrot sticks, fruit choice, whole-wheat cookie.

Friday - Breakfast: French toast, strawberries, fruit. Lunch: Sausage, pepperoni, cheese or combo pizza or strombolli, dark green salad, fruit choice.

Home Delivered Meals

The Marshfield Home Delivered Meals Program provides daily, hot, nutritious meals delivered directly to the homes of homebound residents here in the Marshfield community. The program serves homebound individuals unable to prepare their own meals and needing mealtime assistance. Menus are available for many different diets. Meals are available seven days a week, and are also delivered on holidays. For more information about Home Delivered Meals, call Jackie Zoellner at 715-387-9585.

Sunday - Barbecue chicken quarter, au gratin potatoes, broccoli, fruit mix, sugar cookie.

Monday - Potato crusted cod, baked potato, sour cream, green beans, fruited gelatin, chocolate pudding, whole-wheat roll.

Tuesday - Creamy chicken hot dish, winter blend vegetables, fruit fluff, cherry pie, wheat bread.

Wednesday - Beef and veggies over noodles, mixed vegetables, orange wedges, bread pudding with sauce, roll.

Thursday - Baked ham, parsley potatoes, diced carrots, tossed salad, apple-cranberry crisp, whole-wheat roll.

Friday - Tuna casserole, California blend veggies, peaches, banana cake, rye bread.

Saturday - Chicken fritter on bun, vegetable soup, crackers, applesauce, chocolate chip cookie.

Abbotsford, Colby, Dorchester, Owen

These menus are for the Nutritional Meals program served at the Abbotsford, Colby, Dorchester and Owen sites. Menus are subject to change due to incoming produce. For meal reservations, call the Aging Office at 715-743-5144 or 866-743-5144.

Monday - Spareribs, sauerkraut, O'Brien potatoes, apricots, roasted apples, bread, butter.

Tuesday - Liver and bacon, mashed potatoes, stewed tomatoes, pears, pumpkin cookies, bread, butter.

Wednesday - Hamburger on bun, baked beans, herbed green beans, bread and butter pickles, pineapple.

Thursday - Oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, glazed carrots, cranberries, fresh fruit, bread, butter.

Friday - Fish fillet with tartar sauce, broccoli, German potato salad, cucumber salad, carrot cake, bread, butter.

Greenwood, Loyal, Neillsville

These menus are for the Nutritional Meals program served at the Greenwood, Loyal and Neillsville sites. Call for meal reservations at 715-743-3177, Neillsville; 715-255-8130, Loyal; and 715-267-6308, Greenwood; or the Aging Office at 715-743-5144 or 866-743-5144.

Monday - Lasagna, green beans, lettuce salad with French dressing, lemon poppy seed muffins, garlic bread, butter.

Tuesday - Roast pork, mashed potatoes with gravy, California blend vegetables, tropical fruit, chocolate pudding, rye bread, butter.

Wednesday - Beef and gravy over Texas toast, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, pineapple and oranges, strawberry ice cream.

Thursday - Chicken noodle soup with crackers, ground ham sandwich, fresh fruit, molded fruited Jell-O, white bread, butter.

Friday - Baked chicken breast, buttered squash, three-bean salad, pears, snickerdoodle cookie, wheat bread, butter.

Marshfield

These menus are for the Marshfield lunch sites (Monday through Friday) including Parkview Apartments, 715-384-8966, and Cedar Rail Apartments, 715-384-9877. Diabetic diets are available. Reservations are needed one day in advance by calling the site between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., or anytime at the Aging & Disability Resource Center at 715-421-0014 or 715-384-8479.

Monday - Turkey tetrazzini, wax beans, rosy applesauce, wheat bread, cookie.

Tuesday - Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, wheat bread, raspberry sherbet, Jell-O.

Wednesday - Baked chicken, dressing, gravy, emperor blend vegetables, dinner roll, mandarin oranges.

Thursday - Poorman's lobster, twice baked potatoes, sweet sour coleslaw, rye bread, chocolate pudding.

Friday - Beef chop suey, brown rice, oriental vegetables, egg roll, fresh fruit.

Thorp

These menus are for the Nutritional Meals program served at the Thorp Area Senior Center. Call for meal reservations at 715-669-5566.

Monday - Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, tossed lettuce salad, zucchini bars, bread, butter.

Tuesday - Roast turkey breast, rice with gravy, buttered carrots, coleslaw with oil and vinegar, apple slices, bread, butter.

Wednesday - Roast beef, cup of vegetable beef barley soup, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli and cauliflower, pickled beets, raisin bars, bread, butter.

Thursday - Roast pork, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed cabbage and carrots, bread and butter pickles, cookie, bread, butter.

Friday - Ham and scalloped potatoes, oven baked beans, raw vegetable salad, bread and butter pickles, peach bars, bread, butter. Fish available upon request.
