Shelter sponsors pet vaccination clinic

Rabies is a highly infectious, deadly disease, which presents a serious threat to domestic pets and to humans, if bitten by an infected animal. Prevention of rabies in cats and dogs is possible by having your pet periodically vaccinated against rabies as required by state law.

The Clark County Humane Society is sponsoring a vaccination clinic from noon to 2 p.m. May 4 at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Neillsville. It will be conducted by Grassland Veterinary Service.
