Students in the Wisconsin Rapids School District scored higher than the state average in almost all categories in this year's Wisconsin standardized test.

Results of the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam, which the state Department of Public Instruction released Tuesday, show a greater percentage of Wisconsin Rapids students in grades 3 through 8 and in grade 10 achieved proficient or advanced rankings than the state average in all subject areas, except in seventh-grade math, for which the state average was 3 percent higher, and in 10th-grade social studies, for which the state ...
