Wis. Rapids man a suspect in Chippewa Co. burglary

A 32-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man authorities say was robbing homes of people who had recently died in Chippewa County is being held on a $5,000 cash bond.

On April 16, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department assisted the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department by arresting Seth R. Furgason on warrants from Wisconsin Rapids, Wood County and the Department of Corrections, Wisconsin Rapids Police Detective-Sgt. Casey LaBarre said. The warrants were for traffic infractions, he said.
