Green Bay is set to receive a $200,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to assist with redevelopment on University Avenue.

The city was one of 20 selected for an EPA Brownfield Area-Wide Planning grant nationwide. Green Bay will work with the community and other stakeholders to develop a plan and implementation strategy for Brownfields cleanup and redevelopment. The funds are focused on redevelopment on University Avenue from the East River to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus.
