Prep roundup: King's grand slam helps lift SPASH

With one out in the fifth inning, Stevens Point Area Senior High's Sterling King hit a grand slam to help his team come back after starting theinning down two runs against Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday. They went on to win 4-2.

"I thought it was a well-played game by both teams considering it's so early in our season. I can't say enough about Sterling King stepping up in a big spot like that and showing some leadership by making a big play like that," said SPASH coach Kraig Terpstra.

"I thought our guys showed some good poise and got some runners on. Sterling got the big hit to really win the game for us." ...
