The 15th annual Soiree Musicale, "Americana: From Sea to Shining Sea," an event supporting student scholarships in the Department of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, will take center stage on Friday in Michelsen Hall of the Noel Fine Arts Center at UWSP. A welcome reception begins at 6 p.m., with a program of entertainment provided by UWSP faculty, students and alumni at 7 p.m.

Admission costs $50 per person in advance and $60 at the door and includes beverages and hors d'oeuvres before the performances and an after-glow featuring sweet treats after the program. Both the reception and after-glow will include performances by the UWSP Jazz Combo.

To purchase tickets, call 715-346-3841 or go to www.uwsp.edu/music/Pages/soiree.aspx.
