Monteverdi Chorale to perform spring concert

Monteverdi Master Chorale will present its spring concert, "Song and Dance," at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 600 Wilshire Blvd., and at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 800 Fourth Ave.

The concerts will feature music celebrating singing and dancing, highlighted by Johannes Brahms' "Liebeslieder Waltses," Benjamin Britten's choral dances from "Gloriana" and selections from Randall Thompson's "The Peaceable Kingdom."

Tickets cost $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and $5 for students. One free student ticket is available with the purchase of any general admission or senior ticket. Tickets are available by calling 715-342-5636, by emailing john@monteverdichorale.org, through Monteverdi Chorale's website at www.monteverdichorale.org or from any chorale member. Tickets also will be available a the door.
