Tickets still are available for the Phillip Phillips concert at 7:30 p.m. May 8 in Quandt Fieldhouse at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Opening act is Gin Wigmore.

Phillips is a pop/folk artist who shot to fame after winning "American Idol: Season 11" in May 2012. His debut single, "Home," became a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 single, and his first full-length release, "The World From the Side of the Moon," peaked at No. 4 on Billboard 200 in March.

Tickets cost $25 in advance or $29 the day of the show (plus handling fees). They are available at the UWSP ticket office in Dreyfus University Center or by calling 715-346-4100.
