The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team (3-4) split a home doubleheader with rival Denmark on April 20. The Spartans won the first game 10-6 in extra innings but lost the second game 8-6.

Both teams played with a lot of effort, and consequently the twin bill had everything: over-the-fence home runs, thrilling plays at the plate, and impressive defense.

L-C head coach Terry Jorgensen said it was "a dogfight" and that the team "could've easily won or lost both games." ...
