Preschool classroom volunteers. Prepare class materials, read to children, play games, chaperone field trips and clean up classrooms for our Mosinee's Head Start preschool program. No needles necessary, blood drive volunteers. Enjoy three ways to get involved: Greet donors at the door and guide them through the first steps of their donation. Kennel aides. The Humane Society of Marathon County is looking for volunteers who love animals and want to assist with the cleaning of cat and dog kennels, laundry and dishes or general housekeeping duties at their shelter in Wausau. Board or committee member. Boy Scouts of America, Samoset Council, is looking for male or female adults to mentor youth by being on the Executive Board for the District (a 70 member board) or on a unit committee (6-12 members). Contact Peggy Leet at 715-355-1450 x309 or peggy@samoset.org.
