Retired National Football League star Casey Rabach and his wife, Nicole, used the annual Golden Heart Awards banquet in Sturgeon Bay on Thursday to announce the creation of the Fifth Quarter Foundation.

The charitable organization will provide scholarships and grants to promote youth education, youth activities and sports, and women's health, the Rabachs said.

"For the last 10 years our lives have been defined by the four quarters of a football game," Casey Rabach said. "Now in this next phase of our lives, this fifth quarter, we'd like to take the time to give back." ...
