The McDonald's on Egg Harbor Road in Sturgeon Bay is set to close May 6 for a major redesign.
The outside of the restaurant will receive a more modern look and the interior design will feature natural finishes in the lobby, a variety of seating options, a big-screen TV and green elements including use of LED lighting throughout the interior and exterior, energy-efficient equipment and an energy control panel. A two-lane drive-through is also planned.
"The new restaurant will give our customers a great place to meet, relax and enjoy a good quality meal," said Jeff Norland, owner of the local franchises.
Norland plans to release additional information regarding the grand re-opening in the coming months.
"Thank you to the residents of Sturgeon Bay for their continued support over the years, and we invite them to visit our other Sturgeon Bay McDonald's location at 1132 Green Bay Road during the redesign," he said.
