For the first time in its 25-year history, the winning fish in the Baileys Harbor Brown Trout Tournament was caught through the ice.

Jason Alger said he was fishing with a friend about a mile off Egg Harbor when what turned out to be a 21.22-pounder hit Saturday afternoon.

He told Chad Michaels of WDOR that he and Al Schmidt fished a spot that could have had dozens of boats had there been open water. ...
