For the youth of First English Lutheran Church, Appleton, seeds of change have begun to sprout that will affect not only their church, but neighborhoods near and far from the location in the heart of downtown.

In a joint effort with Zion Lutheran Church and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the Seeds of Grace Learning Garden was born.

Derek Jones, whose passion for gardening and for the health and environment of this downtown neighborhood is the driving force behind the new learning garden, has a vision. ...
