Healthy Living with Diabetes is an evidence-based workshop for people who have diabetes. Developed at Stanford University, the Healthy Living with Diabetes workshop meets for 2-1/2 hours a week for six weeks. Classes are highly participative, where mutual support and success build participants' confidence in their ability to manage their health condition and maintain active and fulfilling lives. It is facilitated by two trained leaders in a classroom style, but most of the learning comes from sharing and helping others with similar challenges. All About Life Rehabilitation Center and Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center will be offering this six week course free of charge at Holy Cross Church in Mt Calvary, 308 S County Rd W. Classes will meet on Thursdays from May 2 through June 6 from 9:00 - 11:30. Class size is limited so please call Jaime Roth at 920-948-2332 for more information or to register.
