The Fond du Lac Women's Chorus will present it's annual spring concert "United We Stand" on Sunday May 19 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church 645 Forest Avenue.

The first half of the concert will feature "The Blue And The Gray", a suite of songs and readings which tell of life during the Civil War.

The second half of the program will feature songs which pay tribute to America. The songs include "Give Me Your Tired Your Poor" and the lively piece "I Like To Be In America" from "West Side Story". These two pieces express the many opportunities found in America to those who have immigrated from other lands and that we are indeed a melting pot of many cultures.

"From Sea To Shining Sea" and the toe tappin' finale "A Salute To America" express our love and tribute to our beautiful nation.

The Fond du Lac Women's Chorus is under the direction of Kris Bartelt with Georgene Antos as accompanist.

A free will offering will be taken.

If you are unable to attend the May 19 performance, the concert will present 2 other performances which you are welcome to attend- May 14 6:45 p.m. Evergreen Retirement Community ``1130 N Westfield Street Oshkosh and Woodlands Retirement Community May 20 6 p.m. 77 Wisconsin American Drive Fond du Lac.
