The Fond du Lac Children's Chorale will perform their annual spring concert, Sunday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at the former St. Pat's Church, 37 Follett St., in downtown Fond du Lac. Under the direction of David Hein, artistic director, this year's concert is titled "This Land Was Made For You and Me." The program includes music indicative of the "American experience," including folks songs of Appalachia, patriotic music, barbershop quartet, Motown, Caribbean influenced music with steel drums, as well as songs from the American Classical art song tradition. The Children's Chorale is pleased to welcome as their special guests the Marian University Chamber Singers. For tickets or information call 322-8943.

In it's 14th season, the Fond du Lac Children's Chorale serves children throughout Fond du Lac county drawing from public and parochial schools. It is a project of the Fond du Lac Arts Council and rehearses at the Windhover Center for the Arts. Membership is open to all fourth through eighth grade children, by audition. Auditions are scheduled at intervals throughout the school year, to learn more, visit the Children's Chorale page at the Windhover Center's website, www.windhovercenter.org, or contact the Chorale office at 322-8943.
