? On Monday, April 29, the library will be showing "Lincoln" at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. As the Civil War continues to rage, as America's president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves.

The film stars Academy award-winning actors Daniel Day-Lewis and Sally Field.

? On Tuesday, April 30, at 1 p.m., the library will screening "Les MisÚrables." Set against the backdrop of 19th Century France, Les MisÚrables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption - a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.

Ex-prisoner Jean Valjean is hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever. The world's longest-running musical brings its power to the big screen in Tom Hooper's sweeping and spectacular interpretation of Victor Hugo's epic tale.

These films are both rated PG-13, but anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult to attend the showing. This is a free program. Registration is not necessary. Free popcorn will be served. Please feel free to bring your own drink.
