Local woman enjoys career as PartyLite consultant

While attending the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh more than a decade ago, Lisa Glodowski of Amherst Junction had two goals: Complete her double-major in accounting and finance and find a job she loved in the corporate world, and to eventually become a mom.

And once Glodowski, now 36, found that "wonderful corporate job" she thought would last forever, she realized balancing those two goals was going to be more difficult than she expected.

"It's hard to balance family life when you are working 70 to 80 hours a week and traveling," she said. ...
