Co-locate the Neville Museum and Brown County Central Library? Repair and renovate the 40-year-old central library structure? Why does the community need a library? In the world of the Internet, with e-readers, with everything available on an iPhone, why should taxpayers invest in a building that isn't going to be needed in the future? Those are questions that library staff and board hear on a regular basis.

It's a misperception that libraries are a dying business. That's wrong. Libraries are alive and well.
