Dr. Wyn Steckbauer, owner of Glacier Dental, 1840 Evans St., acknowledges that many people avoid dental care. He has some thoughts about why that happens, and why it shouldn't.

"Probably the number one reason is monetary, but from a lack of understanding that there are options available. More and more practices are making it easier to pay," Steckbauer explains.

Steckbauer says the financial crunch in 2008-2009 gave a new perspective to many businesses, especially those who provide services. Like everybody else, dentists have had to become more flexible in order to earn client loyalty. In ...
