The Packers felt good enough about Eddie Lacy's long injury history to take him in the second round of the NFL draft on Friday.

But at least one team had serious reservations about him.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette -- http://bit.ly/151Z3MU -- the Steelers passed on the Alabama running back because of a toe injury. According to the report, a Steelers source said the team "would not touch Lacy because his big toe had been fused."

Three running backs were selected before the Packers took Lacy with the 61st overall pick in the draft, which came late in the second round.

Lacy was bothered by a turf toe injury during the 2011 season and according to reports in the spring of 2012, Lacy underwent surgery that kept him out of spring practices in 2012. The surgery was reported at the time, so teams would have been aware of the issue.
