My fingers are officially crossed. Two days from now, our summer softball league is supposed to begin. Since 4 inches of snow still litter the ground - at least such is the case as I write this - my fingers are crossed that we actually will get to play. Assuming the snow vacates the field, and Mother Nature doesn't take it upon herself to dump more on us, this Tuesday night, I'll be playing slow-pitch softball. I can't wait, and I'll tell you why.
