Peshtigo homicide investigation: Law enforcement officals are investigating the death of Patricia Waschbisch on Sunday in Peshtigo. Her boyfriend, Brent Kaempf, is being held as a person of interest.

Authorities are expected today to talk about the investigation into the death of a 45-year-old Peshtigo woman over the weekend.

Patricia "Trish" Waschbisch was found dead at a home at 526 Thompson St. on Sunday night, according to a statement released Monday by the state Department of Justice. Her death is considered a homicide. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday to determine an official cause of death.

Brent Kaempf, 48, was taken into custody for questioning in Waschbisch's death. The two were in a relationship at the time of her death, the DOJ said. ...
