The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Stevens Point Judo Club hosted the State Judo Tournament on April 20 in Berg Gym. Fifty-three competitors came to the event, including a few from Indiana. The small turn-out is the result of the Mid-West Regional tournament held in Chicago this year.

Carolyn Mc Donnel, Wellness 227 student, entered her first judo tournament and placed second in women's lightweight class. She beat UWSP veteran competitor Marisa Arndt, who placed third in the same division.
