The Marathon County Public Library will launch a digital classics book club May 1 in an effort to engage the community in reading and book discussions on their own time.

Digital classics is the first all-digital and online book club, and won't have any face-to-face meetings - only discussions on Goodreads, an online book review and discussion site.

Club moderator and library staff member Chad Dally said he will start discussion on Goodreads. He chose the May book selection, "Babbitt," by Sinclair Lewis, a book about a man who's become disillusioned with modern conveniences. When the group ...
