Child support agencies look for support

State and federal funding for Wood County's Child Support could be cut by 13 percent next year, an amount that would hurt many of the county's children, according to officials.

In 2013, $382,265 of the the Wood County Child Support Office's $866,000 budget comes from state and federal funding. Under the proposed budgets for 2014, the state and federal portion would drop by $50,180.
