'Read Down' at Campbellsport library

Attention teens and kids who have fines on their public library card! The Campbellsport Public Library is inviting you to "read down" your fines. For every 15 minutes you spend reading in the Campbellsport Public Library, staff members will delete 50 cents of overdue fees from your account.

This is how it works:

? Grab a book, magazine, newspaper at our library or bring in what you are reading at home and tell one of the staff members that you want to "read down" your fines.

? We will look up your record and tell you how long you have to read to clean off your fine. Then we will write down your start time.

? Start reading. If you can't read on your own get someone to read to you. That counts.

? When you are done reading, tell a librarian. We will add up you rime and apply the earned discounts to your card.

? Still have fines? You can come back as many times as you would like during the month of May.

This is a great way to earn a fine free library account so you can borrow as many books, movies and CDs from the library as you want to over the summer. You also need a card with less than $5 in fines to use the public computer stations.

If you have any questions about any Library program or service call 533-8534 or email director@campbellsportlibrary.org. You can also find more information about our programs on our website at www.campbellsportlibrary.org or on our Facebook page at Campbellsport Public Library. The library is located at 220 N. Helena St.

The Campbellsport Public Library is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on weekends.
