Ribble is connected to his constituents

I'm responding to the recent "Invisible congressman" letter. Honestly, Rep. Reid Ribble has been more actively engaged than any 8th district representative in recent memory. He's hosted several job fairs to help people find jobs - five so far, connect people to resources (Agricultural Summit & Expo) or just listen to the concerns of people here. I participated in one such listening session for nonprofit agencies at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. He's made an effort to get to know businesses, organizations and resources unique to the area, including Freedom House, a shelter for homeless families. He does all this not seeking attention but to connect and understand the challenges of all constituents. I'm impressed with the way Ribble uses technology to keep us more plugged in/informed than anyone in the four decades I've lived here. He works diligently to serve all his constituents. Invisible? Quite the opposite.

And by the way, Sherwood is in the 8th District. Yes, Ribble not only lives here, his whole life was spent growing up, working, and raising a family in this place we all call home. Get your facts straight if you want to criticize the most connected congressman we've had in years.
