Take 5 Club helps families in real need

This April, Take 5 helped six families. Most were single moms that didn't have enough money at the end of the month to buy clothes for their children and nothing in shorts and t-shirts for them to wear. When I thought I was all done shopping for children I received this email from a women who found out about the Take 5 Club from United Way 211. I have changed a few things so her identity is safe:

"I'm a single disabled mother of four. We moved to Maryland last summer with the intentions of starting over fresh. Met a person who at first seemed very honest and on the right side of the law. Two weeks before ...
