Authorities will file felony charges against a Green Bay man wanted in connection with an April 21 stabbing in Ashwaubenon.
Kenneth Matthews, 50, of 815 N. Broadway, Green Bay, was arrested Wednesday after his attorney arranged his surrender with police, Ashwaubenon Public Safety Lt. Jody Crocker said. He said police are recommending charges of aggravated battery involving the use of a dangerous weapon, and first-degree reckless injury involving the use of a dangerous weapon.
Charges stem from an early-morning fight in a Babcock Road home. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries, authorities said at the time. There was no update on his condition Wednesday evening.
Green Bay police and the United States Marshals Service assisted with Matthews' surrender, Crocker said.
