High School Soccer: Paroubek resigns as De Pere's boys coach

His seven-year stint included three state appearances

For the first time in 21 years, Tom Paroubek won't spend his fall on the sidelines coaching a high school boys soccer team.

Paroubek resigned as De Pere High School's varsity boys soccer head coach last week. Paroubek is going to focus on his insurance agency and spend more time with his family.

"I'm just ready for the next chapter in my life, and it's a good time for it (now)," said Paroubek, who will turn 55 in June. "There's other areas that I would like to make an impact on." ...
