Pilots Association offers scholarship

The Stevens Point Pilots Association is offering a $500 scholarship to a person interested in pursuing flight training. It is to be used within one year of the award date and will be dispensed to the winner periodically as flight training is verified by log entries endorsed by the flight instructor.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and a resident of the central Wisconsin area. In addition to the usual questions, the application requests information about your interest in aviation, your present level of flight experience, if any, and your proposed flight training.

Applications are due on May 15.
