WAUSAU

Wausau Dance Theatre presents the timeless tale of "Sleeping Beauty" in two performances Saturday at The Grand theater, 415 N. Fourth St., Wausau. Performances are at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Free activities, crafts and arts will be available in the Great Hall prior to each show. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors. Tickets are available online at www.grandtheater.org, by phone at 715-842-0988 or at The Grand's ticket office.

Experience a tribute to Wisconsin's movie history and Hollywood's golden era at the inaugural Cinetarium International Film Festival, held Friday through Sunday at the Plaza Hotel and Suites, 201 N. 17th Ave., Wausau. The Israeli film "Hamesima," a nine-time festival winner, will have its Midwest premiere at 7 p.m. Friday. The rest of the weekend will feature a variety of feature films, documentaries, short subject and experimental films from independent filmmakers around the globe. RHINELANDER

See a two-time Tony-nominated play within a play about an ambitious director and his troupe of inept actors with "Noises Off," a farce about the backstage shenanigans at a play performance. The play is staged by Nicolet Live!, the theater group at Nicolet College, 5364 College Drive, Rhinelander. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $9 for the general public and $7 for students and seniors.
