Former Green Bay Packers great LeRoy Butler talks with Anderson Cooper about church flap

LeRoy Butler spoke Thursday night on CNN about the congratulatory Twitter post for NBA player Jason Collins that got him in hot water with a church he was to speak at this summer.

The former Green Bay Packers standout safety said Wednesday a Wisconsin church canceled his July speaking appearance because he had tweeted congratulations to Collins, who revealed Monday that he is gay. Collins is the first active player in the four major U.S. professional sports leagues to come out. He did so in a first-person story published in Sports Illustrated.
