When the Makaroff Youth Ballet dancers take the stage for their spring concert, musicians from the Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestra will be right there with them.

About 60 students from the Youth Orchestra will provide live accompaniment for the 15 dancers in the Makaroff Youth Ballet during three of the pieces on the program. The Youth Orchestra had played those pieces during its spring concert.

"Ballet should be danced to live music," said Jeanette Makaroff, the Makaroff Youth Ballet's artistic director. "When people think of ballet, they tend to think 'Swan Lake,' 'Cinderella,' ...
