Wausau East's Felten seeks return trip to state tennis tournament

Conrad Felten grew up playing baseball and basketball his entire life. The current Wausau East senior stuck with basketball all four years, and he led the team in scoring this past season.

Not until his scond year of high school did he pick up a new sport. Instead of playing baseball, which he did as a freshman, Felton elected to go in another direction. He set aside the glove and bat for a tennis racquet.

"I did play baseball almost my entire life until then but I just didn't seem to like (baseball) that much my freshman year and I heard (the tennis team was) a fun team," Felten said. "My brother played ...
