Defendant in Big Flats homicide case takes witness stand

The 61-year-old Big Flats man charged with first degree intentional homicide admitted Thursday morning to shooting his mother, but he denied he did it intentionally.

"My mother was not murdered," Larry W. Clark said.

For about three hours, Clark sat on the witness stand, answering questions from his attorney, James Connell, then from Assistant Attorney General David Maas, who is working with Adams County District Attorney Tania Bonnett in prosecuting the case. ...
