Golf: Decision due soon on short course proposal

Input deadline May 10 on expansion at Peninsula State Park

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is accepting public feedback until May 10 on a proposal to build a six-hole golf course near the existing Peninsula State Park Golf Course in Ephraim.

The project would also include a starter and staging building, vault toilet facility and a small paved parking lot to accommodate about 20 vehicles. The new facility would be built on approximately five acres of existing park property across Wisconsin 42 from the driving range at Peninsula State Park.
