Thelma's, the largest women's specialty clothing store in the state, and its men's counterpart, The Guy's Shop, will sell their entire inventories and close their doors after 40 years in business as their owners prepare for retirement.

Jack and Sherry Kleinschmidt, who have owned The Guy's Shop since 1996 and Thelma's since 2001, will head into retirement with great memories of customers but also a 17,000-square-foot building to try to sell or lease.
