PESHTIGO - Yellow candle flames flickered in a light spring breeze as groups of people stood in front of 526 Thompson St. on Saturday night as part of a candlelight vigil to honor Patricia Waschbisch.

The front steps of the home were covered in flowers, a collection of photos of Waschbisch sat propped outside a front window of the home.

Waschbisch, who ran a shelter for domestic abuse victims in Marinette, was stabbed to death in her home last weekend, according to a criminal complaint filed earlier this week. ...
