? The Volunteer Center is helping to help home owners or who are elderly or disabled by coordinating volunteers to do spring yard work, such as picking up sticks, raking, getting garden beds ready, and washing windows. Are you ready to "spring into action" by volunteering? Contact the Volunteer Center at (920) 429-9445 or jd@volunteergb.org.

? The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon will be held this year May 17-19. Proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, and Unity Hospice. If you are not running but would still like to participate in this event, you can register at cellcomgreenbaymarathon.com/volunteers. A variety of volunteer duties are available, including packet/T-shirt handout, greeters, course volunteers and finish line food/beverage tent. Contact Jody Weyers at (920) 619-8387 or jweyers2@new.rr.com.

? Wellspring ? A Place of Peace for Women provides peer support, personal growth opportunities, resources and referrals to women who seek safety, belonging and encouragement. Volunteers are needed to mentor, support, encourage and empower women through compassionate listening and friendship building. If you have talent or craft abilities, you can demonstrate to the group, or you can cook a meal and share it with the guests. Contact Jane Jordan at (920) 857-9587 or e-mail Jane.jordan@lsswis.org.
