Toastmasters host speech contest

Toastmasters from central Wisconsin met April 6 for the area level contests at the Sentry Theatre in Stevens Point. The event was hosted by Brian Cychosz.

The first contest was the International Speech Contest. Contestants presented a prepared talk of about five minutes. Don Broderick served as the Master of Ceremonies. The competitors included Leonard "Buzz" Burinski of the UWSP Toastmasters, John Cychosz of the Sentry Toastmasters, Ranee Graf of the Wisconsin Rapids Toastmasters and Paula Houlihan of the Stevens Point Toastmasters.
